Product Summary
The AT1461 is a 1-cell bluetooth charge management IC designed for compact portable electronics. It provides accurate contact-current/constant voltage charging. The constant charge current is programmable with an external signal resistor. The constant voltage is 4.2V and that accuracy of the voltage regulation is better than ±1% over the operating-temperature and supply-voltage ranges. The applications of the AT1461 include portable electronics, bluetooth earphone.
Parametrics
AT1461 absolute maximum ratings: (1)power supply voltage, VCC: -0.3 to +6.5V; (2)BAT pin voltage, VBAT: -0.3 t0 +6.5V; (3)SHDN pin voltage, VSHDN: -0.3 to +6.5V; (4)Thermal resistance from junction to ambient, θJA: 165W; (5)Output current, IOUT: 400mA; (6)Operating temperature, TA: -40 to +85℃; (7)Storage temperature, TSTG: -65 to +125℃; (8)ESD susceptibility, HBM: 2KV; MM: 200V.
Features
AT1461 features: (1)Chargers single-cell Li-Ion/Li-pol batteries from BAT; (2)No external MOSFET, sense resistor or blocking diode required; (3)Better than ±1% voltage regulation accuracy with preset 4.2V charge voltage; (4)Automatic battery-recharge feature; (5)Charge status output for single LED or Host processor interface; (6)Charge termination by minimum current; (7)Automatic Low-power sleep mode whrn VCC is removed; (8)Required small number of external components; (9)Packing: 6-pin SOT-26.
